The Sheep's Head Peninsula has a well-marked cycle route, it starts at Ballylickey, goes all around the peninsula, and finishes at Ballydehob.

Our Bothy makes an excellent place to stop en route to rest, recover and explore!

 

There are many sites for rod fishing from rocks / local piers etc.

 

From Schull and Baltimore there are boat services to the islands in Roaring Water Bay and around Fastnet Light.

 

Sea kayaking and excellent whale-watching trips are available from Union Hall.

 

Explore our neighbouring Mizen and Beara Peninsulas, also inland to Gougane Barra and the Priests Leap.
